The Playa Agua Blanca Djembe Getaway
Imagine this…
A soft sandy beach beneath your feet.
The warm Pacific breeze in your hair.
The steady rhythm of waves mingling with the beat of djembes.
You’re surrounded by new friends — joyful, creative, and as passionate about rhythm as you are.
Every day, you get to play, learn, laugh, and jam under the guidance of three of the best teachers in the world.
And when you’re not drumming?
You’re exploring Mexico’s stunning coastline, sharing meals, dancing, relaxing, and simply… living.
Welcome to The Playa Agua Blanca Djembe Getaway — your chance to grow as a musician, soak up the sun, and make unforgettable memories.

Why this trip is special
This isn’t just a drumming workshop.
It’s a complete immersion in music, community, and the laid-back beauty of Mexico’s Pacific coast.
During your stay, you’ll have nothing to think about except playing, relaxing, and enjoying life. We handle all the details — your lodging, meals, classes, and local guidance — so you can simply show up and let the rhythm carry you.
You’ll come home with:
- Stronger skills & confidence on your djembe (or in African dance, if that’s your choice).
- Techniques you’ll use for years — taught by true masters.
- Deeper musical understanding by playing in group settings and learning to accompany dance.
- A renewed love of playing, fed by fun, laughter, and inspiration.
A global circle of friends who share your passion.
